Permaculture in Your Own Backyard

There is a saying in permaculture: “All the world’s problems can be solved in a garden!”  Seems ridiculous, or at best naïve, but when explored through a new pair of lenses there are inspiring elements of truth in this statement.  

The permaculture homes and gardeners of the future may lead the way in demonstrating how we as humans can live abundantly well, while also leaving the planet in better condition than when we arrived upon it.
In this workshop, permaculture designer and teacher, Bill Wilson will provide a foundational understanding of the concepts and goal of permaculture design, then provide attendees with dozens of examples of how it can be applied to any yard space.

Bill is a nationally recognized permaculture designer and teacher. He worked with the Smart Farm team in 2019 to develop a permaculture design for the Farm that has set the foundation now for generations of food production here.

Class number is limited and begins at 10:00am and runs approximately 2 hours.
